Carpentry Lecturer

We are currently working with a College in the Kent area who is an Ofsted outstanding provider. The college takes pride in being an inclusive provider with a focus on serving their students and communities.  
  
The college offers cutting edge equipment, workshops, classrooms, and computer lab spaces and have recently invested into further high-tech equipment for their engineering departments. 
  
The college are looking for an Engineering Apprenticeship Trainer with a mechanical bias background to assess, support and track learners in a variety of environments towards timely completion.  
Job Specification

The Ideal Candidate

Our client are looking to appoint into this role as a matter of urgency, and preference will be given to candidates who have previous highways experience (not essential). You will be required to work circa 50&nbsp;hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend working (paid at 1.5x). A forward tipping dumper ticket and roller ticket would be advantageous.

We are currently looking for a Highways Ganger to join the team working on a major highway project around St Austell. They are beginning the major earthworks phase of the project and so any previous earthworks experience would be advantageous.
Successful candidates will have previous ganger experience as well as holding a valid CSCS card. You will also ideally have your SSSTS or SMSTS.
The role is working Monday to Friday, with the standard working week being 54 hours per week (day time). More hours are available as we enter the summer months and this is working on a long term project. The position is to start immediately. Candidate will be paid at 1.5 for weekend work as well as any work carried out over a bank holiday.
