Biology Lecturer

To work collaboratively both within the Department of Science and with internal and external stakeholders on the delivery and development of high-quality curriculum programmes.
Main Responsibilities 

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons while maintaining records.
2. Ensure quality teaching, manage resources, and address behavioural issues.
3. Monitor learner progress, assess, and participate in team activities.
4. Serve as an Academic Progress Tutor, support learners, and set goals.
5. Contribute to program quality through self-assessment and professional development.
6. Perform administrative duties and support learners as needed.
7. Provide academic and pastoral support for learners.
8. Handle moderation and assessment tasks as required.
9. Follow Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety policies.
10. Engage in relevant training and professional development.
11. Fulfill other tasks as assigned by your Line Manager or the College.
