The ideal candidate:

	<li>A suitable engineering degree MEng/BEng in civil or structural engineering, ideally with senior engineer or associate level experience and working towards chartership with the IStructE or ICE.

	<li>Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, analysis and technical design ability are essential and are considered key attributes for the role.
	<li>Confident managing others and willing to delegate and verify technical delivery as necessary to deliver the appropriate level of technical information per stage in line with project scope requirements.
	<li>Current experience of leading, managing and running, as the principal point of contact for structural engineering design projects.
	<li>Excellent knowledge of standard engineering practices, techniques, procedures, and Structural principles.
	<li>Experience in delivering Party Wall Surveys is desirable but not essential.
	<li>Alongside this you would also be responsible for taking the technical lead with the existing team, mentoring as required and promoting CPD.

The Quarry Manager will manage and be accountable for all operations on the Asphalt Plant. As an Assistant Quarry Manager you will also be responsible for:

Steel Fixer

We are looking for both Class 1 Drivers and Class 2 Drivers to join one of the county&rsquo;s leading partners to the construction industry. This role will appeal to drivers who are wanting to work daytime hours, Monday to Friday.
This position is based out of their sites, either near Summercourt or near Nanpean, and the successful candidate will be working on a full time, permanent basis (directly employed by the client).
The work is varied, with the fleet made up of flatbeds, tippers and hi-ab crane lorries. You will be expected to deliver building products to local merchants as well as directly to construction sites and customers. A hi-ab licence would be advantageous but it is not essential as full training is provided&nbsp;.&nbsp;Any hours over the 45 each week are paid at the equivalent hourly rate, plus an additional 50p attendance bonus per hour, and 50p safety bonus per hour.
