Registration Terms and Conditions for Candidates

  1. TR2 RECRUITMENT LTD (the Company) is acting as an Employment Business when arranging contract assignments and as an Employment Agency when arranging permanent appointments on behalf of its candidates, as defined in The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 (Conduct Regulations).

    The Company is in the business of providing work finding services, as defined in the Conduct Regulations for candidates and independent specialists and, where a role or assignment is found, providing arrangements for persons to provide services to its clients through contract assignment or by permanent appointment with its clients. These roles are working in the Construction Industry and we have identified you as having the relevant Qualifications and/or Skills for these roles.

  2. The Company provides its services to you, free of charge, in accordance with its privacy notice, which will include maintaining your details on its database of candidates, searching for suitable opportunities for you and keeping in touch with you. When the Company introduces you to a client, having obtained your consent to the introduction, then upon mutual agreement with the client it will arrange an interview(s) on your behalf and help you conclude negotiations for a permanent or contract assignment. No guarantee can be given that an introduction will lead to a temporary assignment or permanent appointment.

  3. You should ensure the information we hold on you, including your curriculum vitae, is accurate and up to date. Kindly provide details of referees promptly upon request, although we will not contact referees without your agreement.

  4. You will be subject to pre-employment checks.

  5. The Company is committed to a policy of equal opportunities for all work seekers and shall adhere to such a policy at all times. The Company shall not discriminate unlawfully when deciding which candidate is submitted for a vacancy or contract assignment, or in any terms of employment for temporary workers. The Company will ensure that each candidate is assessed only in accordance with the candidate’s merits, qualification, ability to perform the relevant duties required by the particular vacancy.

  6. Your acceptance of this agreement shall be deemed by your request or your acceptance of our services.

When acting as an Employment Business for temporary assignments

You will supply your services via your chosen umbrella company. Until you have registered with your chosen umbrella company, we will engage you under the following additional terms:

7. For contract assignments the Company shall seek work for you with appropriate market rate pay and conditions, but the pay will be at least the National Minimum Wage from time to time in force.

  1. You have provided your personal information to the Company. The Company shall provide its services to you in accordance with its privacy notice found here https://www.tr2rec.com/legal_documents/privacy_policy

  2. If you are seeking a contract position, then the Company provides its services in accordance with its terms which vary depending on how you provide your services to the Company. As a temporary worker, the Company will engage you under a Contract for Services. You have received Key Information Documents from the Company which should inform your decision on how to provide your services and you should notify the Company of your decision prior to it providing you with services, where practicable.

  3. The Company will pay its temporary workers weekly in arrears. Whilst the Company can satisfy itself that the hours have been worked, this payment is not conditional of the company receiving funds by the Client.

  4. All contracts for temporary workers are written as immediate notice. This notice applies to both the End Client and you as the worker during any assignment arranged by the Company. Should you decide to work directly with the End Client following an introduction, The Company may be due a fee under the terms engaged between The Company and the End Client.

  5. As a Temporary Worker through an Employment Business, you are entitled to be paid annual leave according to the statutory minimum as provided by the WTR from time to time. The current statutory entitlement to be paid annual leave under the WTR is 5.6 weeks. This holiday entitlement accrues throughout the leave year (01 Jan – 31 Dec) and must be taken during such time and may not carry forward to the next year. Holiday pay will be accrued and paid when time is taken off.

Once you have engaged with the services of your chosen umbrella company, their terms of engagement will apply, and these terms will cease to apply.
