The Role

As an Administrator, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the Directors, Surveyors, and Operations Manager. You’ll help keep the office running smoothly, ensuring clients receive an exceptional level of service. This is a busy, varied role that suits someone who enjoys multi-tasking and takes pride in accuracy and professionalism.

The position is working 4 days per week, Tuesday through to Friday, on a permanent basis (FTE salary equates to £26,500 per annum). The hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm with 1 hour for lunch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client enquiries and direct queries appropriately
  • Schedule and coordinate surveys, managing diaries and related documentation
  • Accurately audio type detailed reports and surveys
  • Prepare and issue final reports to clients, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Support invoicing and maintain precise administrative records
  • Scan, file, and manage documents electronically
  • Handle outgoing post and general office supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service both by phone and face to face

About You

You’ll be confident working independently and as part of a team, with a calm and methodical approach to busy workloads. Previous experience in audio typing is a must, as well as having the ability to multi-task and transferring large documents to type.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven administrative experience
  • Strong audio typing skills (typing test at interview)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Understanding of GDPR and confidentiality requirements

Desirable:

  • Experience with Xero or CRM systems (training provided)
