Aeronautical Engineering Lecturer – Aircraft Electrical & Instrument Systems (South West College)

We are supporting a college in the South West in their search for an Aeronautical Engineering Lecturer to deliver the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Engineering – Unit 54: Aircraft Electrical and Instrument Systems.

Assignment Details:

  • Duration: 16 weeks

  • Hours: 4 days per week

  • Focus: Delivering Unit 54 to learners aged 16–19

  • Location: South West England

The Role:
This is a specialist teaching assignment, focused solely on Aircraft Electrical and Instrument Systems. You will deliver engaging, practical, and theory-led sessions, supporting learners through assignment completion and assessment criteria.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Industry experience in aeronautical engineering, electrical, or instrumentation systems

  • Experience mentoring, supervising, or developing junior engineers or apprentices

  • Able to translate practical skills into clear teaching for learners aged 16–19

  • Teaching or training experience in a college, apprenticeship, or workplace environment is desirable
