We are currently recruiting for an Instructor Demonstrator – General Engineering (Electronics & Maintenance) to join a well-established further education provider in North Wales.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong industrial engineering background who is looking to move into an education and training environment.

The Role

You will support the delivery of practical engineering workshop sessions, helping learners develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence required for employment or further study.

The role will cover areas including:

  • Electronics
  • Engineering Maintenance
  • Bench Fitting
  • Practical workshop skills
  • Safe working practices
  • Use of engineering tools and equipment
  • Supporting learners during practical activities

About You

We are looking for an experienced engineering professional with:

  • A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Recent industrial engineering experience
  • Strong practical engineering skills
  • Experience or knowledge of electronics, maintenance and/or bench fitting
  • The ability to demonstrate safe working practices
  • Good knowledge of current engineering practices and developments
  • The ability to support and encourage learners in a practical workshop environment

Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.
