Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with Social Emotional and Mental Health issues and Autistic spectrum continuum diagnosis.

In this role, you will play a vital part in helping students develop self-respect, confidence, and independence, equipping them with the skills they need to thrive in their communities. As a Trauma Informed school all of our adults are Emotional Available as part of this you will be given a small group of students to act as key contact this will give you an opportunity to work one to one with these students to help them build their self-esteem and self-worth and building a bridge to education. You will also regularly contact parents becoming the first point of contact and supportive adult for parents who have not had good relationships and experiences with education.

We are seeking individuals with experience working with children or young people, ideally in a SEND setting, who possess empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
