T Level Lecturer – Mechanical Specialism

Location: Surrey
Salary: £31,990 – £41,718 (pro rata, dependent on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week, Monday–Friday)

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable T Level Lecturer (Mechanical Specialism) to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across Levels 3–4 within a well-established further education setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineering professional or lecturer to inspire the next generation of learners while contributing to a forward-thinking and supportive department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging teaching across T Level Mechanical programmes (Levels 3–4)
  • Support learner progress, achievement, and employability outcomes
  • Act as a personal tutor, promoting attendance and student development
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and continuous improvement
  • Work collaboratively with the wider engineering team

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (or currently working towards one)
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Relevant industry experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners

Desirable:

  • Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (or equivalent A1)
  • Internal Quality Assurance qualification (or willingness to work towards)
