Civil Engineering Lecturer 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas / Plumbing Assessor to support an urgent temporary requirement within Further Education and apprenticeship provision. 
 
Location - Yeovil 

This role is required ASAP and will run until the Easter half term.

Key responsibilities include:

	Completing learner reviews and recording progress on Smart Assessor

	Undertaking workplace observations with apprentices to support completion of Gas portfolios

	Carrying out Gas assessments in the college workshop with apprentices

	Supporting learners to meet assessment and compliance requirements in line with awarding body standards

Essential requirements:

	Occupational competence in Gas and Plumbing

	Proven experience as an Assessor within FE or apprenticeships

	Confident using Smart Assessor (or similar e-portfolio systems)

	Ability to work independently and hit tight timescales

	Valid DBS (ideally on the Update Service)
