We are working on behalf of a leading FE college in York to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Motor Vehicle Lecturer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual to share their expertise and inspire the next generation of vehicle technicians.

The successful candidate will deliver both theory and practical sessions in Light Vehicle Maintenance, ensuring students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence required for industry success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Motor Vehicle (Light Vehicle Maintenance), level 1 - level 3 to apprentices and full time students. 

  • Provide hands-on demonstrations in workshop settings.

  • Prepare learners for assessments, exams, and real-world practice.

  • Support and guide learners to achieve their full potential.

  • Maintain accurate records of progress and achievement.

Candidate Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance OR substantial, relevant industry experience.

  • Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience (formal teaching qualification desirable but not essential).

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • A passion for developing the skills of future motor vehicle professionals.
