Full-Time Motor Vehicle Lecturer (Temp – Temp to Perm Opportunity)
Location: Hereford Area
We are currently supporting a well-established further education provider in the Hereford area in the appointment of a Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join their expanding Automotive provision on a temporary basis, with strong scope to become permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industry professional or existing lecturer to join a supportive and forward-thinking team delivering to 16–19 learners and apprentices across Levels 1–3.
You will deliver both practical and theory-based sessions across key Motor Vehicle disciplines, including:
- Engine systems (petrol & diesel)
- Steering, suspension and braking systems
- Vehicle electrical systems and fault diagnosis
- Transmission systems
- Routine maintenance procedures
- Health & safety in vehicle maintenance
Experience in EV/Hybrid technology and air conditioning systems would be highly advantageous.
Alongside delivery, you will be responsible for learner progress tracking, assessment, tutorial support, and contributing to wider curriculum development and departmental activity.
About you
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle (or equivalent)
- Strong industry experience in vehicle repair/maintenance
- Teaching experience preferred, though not essential (training can be provided)
- Passionate about developing the next generation of automotive professionals
